13 Aug 2010: 5 subalbums of pics now added to Wales Week 2010, including pictures kindly supplied by Mark's Dad Ian)!

17 Jul 2010: added the first of what I hope will be several new subalbums of pics from Wales Week 2010! (If you have any pictures for the website, please send them to us [e.g. on a CD or memory stick - we'll return the latter to you of course] and we'll put them up!).

10 Jul 2010: a new photo added to the Various album.

6 July 2010: Many congratulations to the New Forest Children's Choir, who will be competing in their Category Finals for BBC Choir of the Year in the Birmingham Symphony Hall on 6 November! Jane and Patrick wish them and their Director, Alison Russell all the very best. Patrick (who has been their accompanist since 2008) will miss playing for them but respects Alison's decision to break the link between the two choirs who were formed together as a joint project just over two years ago. We and all NFYC members will miss seeing them around.

4 July 2010:added a new album here with some pictures of NFYC singing yesterday at Emily and Tom's wedding at All Saints Church, also an album here with pics from Friday's rehearsal.

01 May 2010: a new album (Various) added with some pics from yesterday's NFYC rehearsal (crocodile + ballet + solo).

20 Mar 2010: Congratulations to NFYC who obtained a high Distinction (and a Cup!) in the New Milton Music Festival today.

The New Forest Youth Choir. High quality choral singing, together with opportunities for solo performance (vocal and instrumental) to help young people develop all round musicianship. Fun musical/social events for choir members and their families. This is a private website owned and run by Patrick Lee to enable us to communicate efficiently with members, parents and others closely involved with the Choir. This is the place where you can get the latest information as to dates, timings, and other details of choir events. We will add other useful information here over time, including educational material designed to help us all improve as musicians and as a disciplined and harmonious team. You will need to login to access this information. To request a login account, please email the Choir's Director (Jane Lee, email [disguised to prevent junk mail]: jane at newforestchoirs dot com), stating your full name, your email address and your relationship with the choir (e.g. current member, parent/guardian of current member, supporter). Once you are logged in, you will be able to look at full details of upcoming events (by clicking on the Calendar of Events item in the left hand Main Menu, or by clicking on individual items in the Upcoming events list on the right hand side).
